Can I Redo a Course and its Exam?

If you have already completed a course but want to dive back in for extra practice, here is everything you need to know about navigating the platform and understanding credit restrictions.

How do I re-watch lessons I’ve already finished?

You can revisit course content at any time. To do this:

  • Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select My Semesters or Self-Directed.

  • Open the specific course you want to review.

  • In the left sidebar, you will see a list of all lessons. Simply click on any lesson title to restart the video or review the materials.

Can I retake the final exam to practice?

That depends on your previous result:

  • If you failed the exam: Yes. You can find the Review / Retake Exam option at the very bottom of the lesson list on the course page.

  • If you passed the exam: No. Once a passing grade is achieved, the exam is locked and cannot be taken again.

Why can’t I retake an exam after passing?

The restriction on retaking passed exams is due to CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation requirements.

Once a passing grade is achieved, the platform automatically awards the associated professional credits to your profile. To maintain the integrity of these credits and comply with accreditation standards, the exam is officially "locked" upon completion.

Note: While the assessment itself is fixed to protect your certification status, you retain full access to all course videos and materials if you wish to refresh your knowledge.
