How to Sync Your Kubicle Milestones with Your Calendar

Kubicle allows learners to sync semester milestone due dates directly to their personal calendar. This helps learners stay on track by seeing upcoming deadlines alongside their existing meetings and commitments.

You can sync milestones automatically with Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, or manually using an iCal link. Calendar syncing can be accessed directly from a semester view or from Account Settings.

What Gets Synced to Your Calendar

When you sync your calendar, Kubicle adds:

• Semester milestone due dates
  
  
• Key learning deadlines linked to your assigned semester
  
  

📌 Progress updates (e.g. % complete) are not synced — only milestone due dates.

Option 1: Sync Automatically from Your Semester

Step 1: Open Your Semester

1. Log in to Kubicle
   
   
2. Go to My Kubicle
   
   
3. Open your active semester
   
   

On the right-hand panel, you’ll see a prompt to Set Up Calendar Reminders.

Step 2: Choose Your Calendar App

Under Automatic Calendar Integration, select one of the following:

• Sync Due Dates to Google Calendar
  
  
• Sync Due Dates to Microsoft Outlook
  
  

You’ll be asked to authorise Kubicle to add events to your calendar.

Once confirmed, your semester milestones will appear automatically in your selected calendar.

Option 2: Sync Automatically from Settings

You can also sync your milestones at any time from your account settings.

Steps:

1. Click your profile icon (top-right)
   
   
2. Go to Settings
   
   
3. Open the Calendar tab
   
   
4. Choose:
   
   
   • Sync Due Dates to Google Calendar, or
     
     
   • Sync Due Dates to Microsoft Outlook
     
     

This option is useful if you skipped the prompt in your semester or want to re-sync your calendar later.

Option 3: Manual Calendar Integration (iCal)

If you use a different calendar app (e.g. Apple Calendar), you can manually subscribe using an iCal link.

Step 1: Copy Your iCal Link

1. Go to Settings → Calendar
   
   
2. Under Manual Calendar Integration, copy the iCal link provided
   
   

Step 2: Add the Link to Your Calendar App

1. Open your calendar application
   
   
2. Choose Add Calendar or Subscribe to Calendar
   
   
3. Paste the iCal link
   
   
4. Confirm to add the calendar
   
   

Your Kubicle milestone due dates will now appear in your calendar and update automatically if dates change.

Keeping Your Calendar Up to Date

• If milestone due dates are updated in Kubicle, synced calendars will update automatically
  
  
• You do not need to re-sync unless:
  
  
  • You change calendar apps
    
    
  • You revoke calendar permissions
    
    
  • You want to switch sync methods
    
    

Troubleshooting Tips

• If events don’t appear immediately, try refreshing your calendar
  
  
• Check that calendar permissions are enabled for Kubicle
  
  
• If using manual iCal sync, ensure your calendar app supports subscribed calendars
