It’s common to log into the Kubicle platform and find a new set of assigned modules waiting for you. However, if you notice that some of the content doesn’t seem to align with your specific job function or daily tasks, you might wonder if there’s been a mistake.

Here is how to handle a learning pathway that feels like a mismatch.


Why is this content in my dashboard?

On the Kubicle platform, learning assignments are managed entirely by your organization’s internal administrators. Your L&D (Learning and Development) team or department lead decides which skills are prioritized for different teams.

If you see modules that don’t seem to fit your current role, it usually comes down to one of two things:

  • Strategic Upskilling: Your organization may have identified a future need for these skills. They might be "training you up" in these areas to prepare you for upcoming projects, new technologies, or internal transitions that require a broader skill set.

  • Administrative Oversight: Occasionally, an admin might apply a broad learning path to a large group that includes your department by default.

Recommended Next Steps

  1. Review the Learning Goals: Before reaching out, take a quick look at the module summaries. Sometimes the underlying data skills (like advanced Excel or Data Visualization) are universal, even if the examples used aren't specific to your department.

  2. Reach Out Internally: If you still feel the content is irrelevant, we recommend contacting your internal L&D admin or your direct manager. They can confirm if the assignment was intentional or if you should be moved to a different learning track.
